Patrick Masobe is an experienced business executive with a demonstrated history of working successfully in the financial services sector and new business ventures. He is skilled in leadership, strategy, business planning, operations management and finance. He is a strong professional who graduated cum laude from Grinnell College in the USA. He also holds a MSc from the London School of Economics at the University of London, and is currently completing an LLM in International Business Law from Cumbria University in the U.K. He also holds post graduate diplomas from the University of California, Berkeley, the University of the Witwatersrand and the London School of Business.

Morgan Ramsamy

Ms Morgan Ramsamy is a highly skilled and respected chartered accountant. She brings a diverse array of skills that will complement the firm’s growth ambitions in Africa, Asia, The Middle-East and Europe. Ms Ramsamy has proven herself to be a savvy business-women in structuring several new business acquisitions in South Africa and in Africa for listed South African companies, commercializing the acquired businesses and then being appointed on the boards of these subsidiaries. Furthermore, her extensive corporate experience, which includes being a board member and member of the executive committees of two of South Africa’s listed businesses adds strategic depth.

Peter Ramgoolam

Ishkaar Ramgoolam

Ishkaar has an unmatched project, program and portfolio management aptitude. He has planned, managed and launched large-scale multi year infrastructure projects and programs using tailored contemporary methodologies aligned with industry and best practice. His mastery and supremacy relative to the development of avant-garde program and project value chains culminates in superlative structural and strategic alignment.

Ishkaar has completed his Masters of Science in Strategic Project Management and currently is currently studying towards a Masters in Business Administration. He has further completed various international courses relative to management science with ivy league universities such as Cornell and Stanford.

Professor Rob Pearl

Group Non-Executive Director

Prof Rob Pearl was born in Cape Town, South Africa in 1951. He obtained his professional qualifications at the University of Cape Town and has been employed in the consulting sector of the quantity surveying profession since 1969.

His experience has mostly been in quantity surveying professional consultancies throughout Southern Africa. He has wide experience in quantity surveying practice in commercial, industrial and the civil engineering sectors. In addition, he was employed as a senior lecturer at the University of Cape Town from 1986 to 1994, when he was appointed as Professor of Quantity Surveying at the University of Kwa Zulu Natal (UKZN).

He took early retirement from UKZN at end-2008 and was appointed Professor Emeritus at that time. He remains active in academic circles. Prof Pearl has published widely and has been an appointed member of the Middle East, Near East and Africa Education Standards Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He travels extensively, including biannual working stints in Singapore over several years. He is currently the President of the Africa Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS), as well as being the immediate past-Director of the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) for Region 3 (Africa).

Prof. Rob Pearl has been a member and chaired numerous professional committees serving the QS profession throughout SA since 1976, notably two periods as a member of the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession, and Board Member of the Association of SA Quantity Surveyors – President in 2008 / 2009. He is currently President of the Africa Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS); and is the immediate past-Director (Africa – Region 3) for the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC)

His expertise is recognised internationally, particularly in construction procurement, dispute resolution and professional ethics, having conducted research and published extensively in these fields.

Ray Bisnath

Chief Operating Officer

Ray believes that he is a Transformational leader and this belief  as culminated from the exposure and experience he has gained in his long and successful career to date.

He started his career in Telkom and through dedication and perseverance he progressed through the ranks to various senior management positions. His career in Telkom spanned twenty three years and during the journey he also served as a organised labour leader before joining the management ranks. This experience and academic achievements enabled him to successfully execute his duties in the various roles in Telkom. At the time of his departure from Telkom he was senior manager for Public Services responsible for business operations and strategy.

Post Telkom he joined KPMG and completed six years in the company. As a senior manager in the Public Sector markets division he was responsible for business development and served as an executive manager for the Group Executive – Public Sector. After a year Ray moved to internal audit and risk compliance as senior manager and in this role he focused on business development and delivery mode heading projects encompassing co-sourced and outsourced internal audit appointments.

After leaving KPMG he joined EON Consulting as a Management Consultant for a year. Ray then joined the LTE Group as Group Chief Operating Officer and served in this position for six years. In this role he had overall responsibility and accountability for operational effectivity and efficiency. In the leadership rotation Ray was requested to serve in the Group Chief Corporate Services Officer position and successfully did so until his departure from the LTE Group.

In April 2018 Ray joined the Ramgoolam and is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer, Consulting.

He obtained his Masters in Business Administration from the Oxford
Brookes University in the United Kingdom.

Arthi Ramgoolam
